Mat Pilates
Under the guidance of a certified Pilates instructor, you’ll learn proper breathing techniques, body alignment, form, and body mechanics. The goal: improve the quality of your movement by increasing mindfulness, with strength that stems from the core.
What a session looks like
Mat Pilates is low-impact but far from easy. Expect slow, controlled work on the mat — no machines required — that leaves you taller, looser, and more aware of how you carry yourself.
Who it’s for
Anyone who wants to move better. Pilates pairs beautifully with strength training, helps desk workers undo the chair, and gives anyone recovering from injury a controlled way to rebuild core strength and body awareness.
Your instructor
Classes are taught by Kristy Skidmore, AAAI/ISMA-certified and teaching Pilates since 2013, with a background in nutrition education. Meet the whole crew here.
